15-02-2001 I added a configuration file for hylafax that people can use when using a Eicon Diva Server Adapter. The adapter works well, make sure you define your MSN and small things. You might need to run it through "faxaddmodem" another to set the rest up. Note that after running faxaddmodem again it resets the ResetMdmCmds variable. Make sure you redefine it. The modem initstring for analog calls is AT&E S14=10 S18=1 I also added a rc.eicon script to it. Here you will find a faxprint script a master-filter script which you can place in /usr/lib/rhs/rhs-printfilters You can copy printtool to /usr/bin or apply the diff against printtool (make backups, I do) The printtool works exactly the same and you should be able to figure it out by yourself to add entry's :-) Oh and make sure you install hylafax. If you have installed patched copy compiled or whatever you deem neccesary to reach this goal, you now can make printcap entry's that in fact are fax queues. This means that if you add samba to this mix you can print from windows and Unix machines to printer queues and make the output go to that given destination. This NOT a dynamic fax system, it does however make automating the sending of faxes to predefined destinations a lot easier. That is if you are stuck with either inflexible windows software or a borken Unix that can't compile ls ;-) Bye Seth seth@iserv.nl
